I'm not a mom but i have lots of sisters, this is what you do, let her she is going to stop when she has her own place, if she doesn't already, and until sadly she has an accident that's how my sister learned she crashed her car got sick and lost her job and now she works more and plays less, i know it sounds bad but hey trust me it will work and it will stop ariund her midlle or late 20 so just sit back and chill.

You probably can't talk her out of it, shes just going to have to get tired of it herself. And youve probably noticed that telling a kid/teenager not to do something makes them do it more.

If it makes you feel anybetter, "wear a jacket or youll catch pneumonia/a cold" is an old wives tale. Sicknesses/diseases blah blah are caused by a bacteria or virus - cold weather can't give you these. If its rediculously cold she can get hypothermia or something like that, but I don't think thats the case or she would definently cover up.

Wow, it's legal to drink at 18 where you live? That's a problem right there. She'll stop as soon as she gets pregnant or a venereal disease. Perhaps she'll be killed in a drunk driving episode or get alcohol poisoning. Either way, that kind of life will eventually burn itself out and she'll have nothing to show for it. Sorry to be so gloomy but that's all I can think of right now.

wow i feel bad for u sometimes drinking to much can lead to being a alcoholic drunk driving unsafe sex etc!!! plus shes 18 thats not a legal age to drink 21 is!! if shes getting drunk shes probably sneakin in a drink from someone else who is legal if she gets caught shes gonna have a fine and maybe jail who knows/?...all i can say is try to talk to her in a calm matter and let her know its normal to wanna go out and party but make sure u always have a driver who is sober dont trust anyone who wants to buy u drinks dont and dont have unsafe sex with just anyone!!

It'll pass, instead of momming her(it'll just cause her to rebel more) let her be or better yet go with her. At least she is working and she's only 18,if she was like 30 then I'd worry

Tell her since she has money to blow, you think it would be wise for her to start paying rent. After all she is 18. Why not teach her a lil more responisiblity.

she'll eventually get over it... .. that sounds just like a cousin of mine.. .. she's slowed down a lot and no longer cares about going out every weekend.. it's gonna take some time.
