I have a friend selling his 1969 XR7. The car is in pieces, and will require a complete restoration. The body is solid, and reasonably straight. No front end collisions ever. Rear ended, and straightened at some point. 351 W, bored .060 over, balanced and blueprinted. No intake or carb. Headers look ok. Glass is fine.

Just checked 'Hemmings'; '68 XR7 with new suspension/steering, GT40 heads w/fuel injection, 'needs paint' listed for $7,000.00. A Cougar needing full restoration -- I'd guess about $1,000.00 -- $1,200.00 tops providing you have the expertise to do the majority of work yourself. Face it...you would probably be money ahead to spend to spend 7K on one that runs vs $5,000.00 on one that takes four years to build.

I would say about 1200.00. Without the motor running, makes it tough to value. Also, with the motor being bored out, might lower the "original" value unless the motor is still the stock block and heads.(Matching numbers).

$1000 to $1500. Engine is a big question. You can't start it.
Its a good find and is well worth restoring.
