I use a sent neutralizer spray first, then a cover scent that is an earth scent(dirt-leaves). The only attractent I use is doe urine or a doe in-heat. There are many good brands on the market to choose from. They all work about the same!

There are many good attractor/cover scents. The makers all say theirs is the best. One I would NOT use anymore is skunk. Any animal that has had a run in w/ old " Peppie " tends to not want another one.

you want something that works ,right? find a military surplus store then buy a chemicle suit with charcoal/carbon in it. it will destroy any odor coming from your body. I have used one for years now and always get my limit. Also wear rubber boots, and wear a mask to over up more of your scent. As for an attractant find a deer trail near water and set up near that in heavy cover. they often travel off and on throughout the whole day most of the really large ones i got was between 12 and 2 pm. i also know deer are wary but very curiouse,on one trip i was talking to a couple of hunters and noticed a deer sneaking in for a look. so after that i started carrying a small radio and had it on a station with just talking. it bored the hell out of me but it seemed to work.just make sure it is just loud enough for you to hear clearly. natural things are often the best attractants. as i said fond out where the go for water, cover food and so on. where i hunted it was in a valley so to speak with a creek i knew they came from the east in the morning drank then headed uphill to an open field with tall brush and grasses to eat and bed down. just find their natural habits and you will have no trouble getting your limit.

next year start scouting around september, where ever you jump a deer make a note of it,also note the direction he heads off to. he will be heading for it's favorite hide away. give him a 1/2 hour or so and if you can track it go for it see if you can catch him bedded down again. another funny thing about deer are sometimes they run 20 yards or so then stop to see what spooked them,as i said they are curious. i dropped a few that done that.
if you can find an uprooted tree clear away the leaves and roll in the dirt,or if your near a cow pasture step in cow manure(another good reason for rubber boots, easy to clean). the fresh dirt will make a deer think another one is freshening or making a scrape, and covering your scent, the manure will just cover your smell.
i hope this helps you out,and good luck

I like fresh earth cover scent. also wash with the soap and deoderant before you go out. I also like the spray bottle scent killer as well. I think h s scents does these. Use the cover scent wafers they are great! they have several different scents also, so choose according to where you hunt.

Fresh earth scent by HS Scent wafers are supposedly the best overall scent there is out there for a cover scent. They make pine, apple, and sex-based ones for the rut also.

Bloodhounds are often puffed up. many of the coolest things written approximately their magnificent regulation enforcement monitoring expertise have been written by way of a criminal (who befell to be a police officer). That pronounced, looking a seat is very obtainable, any canines with stable hunt rigidity ought to do it. Bloodhounds have a competent nostril, the excellent of all canines, little question, yet a toy poodle with adequate hunt rigidity can do very almost as stable of a job! is this obtainable? specific, despite the fact that if it is likewise thoroughly ineffective. heady scent discrimination = no longer allowable in courtroom. cops used to arrest men in step with what Bess the Bloodhound pronounced...of direction many harmless men have been locked up.
