Celebrity Cruises Ultimate Carribean. We visited Key West, Costa Rica, Panama, Aruba and Nassau. We were supposed to go to Cozumel but couldn't due to hurricane weather. We had a great time anyway. The ship was the Millennium, which is a very classy ship. Seeing as you are going in December, this would be a good cruise since it goes farther south than most.

About 2 years ago My family and I took a cruise on the Carnival Glory which was the biggest ship in its class at that time and it was amazing. The food was incredible and the boat is magnificent! Basically just stick with Carnival Cruise Lines.
Good Luck

We took a Princess cruise line cruise out of Ft Lauderdale to the Panama Canel but with stops in Cozumel, Gran Cayman, and Jamaica.

I loved our cruise this past August on the Carnival Glory. It was seven day western Caribbean cruise. The ports were St. Thomas, Nassau, and St. Maarten. The ports themselves weren't that great (unless you like shopping and/or beaches), but there were four days at sea. I love sea days so that was the best part of the cruise for me.

The best Caribbean cruise we have ever been on was on the Carnival Paradise. This was when it originally was a non-smoking ship. No one smoked or was even allowed to possess tobacco on board. This ship was spotless and clean smelling.

I only went on one, which was Disney, and it was one of the best trips I have ever had, my son at the time was 8, it was just he and I and it was wonderful, they have stuff for all ages, from very small to teens to adults. They really think of everyone and pay such attention to detail.

My husband and I really enjoy the Disney Magic. NO, we do not have children and YES we still enjoy it~ immensely. We have been on it 5+ times and we plan on going again. I especially like the Eastern route they offer.
Good luck and enjoy whatever you choose.
