Molasses Orange Barbecue Sauce
1 Can Tomato soup, condensed (10 3/4 Ounce)
1 Can Tomato sauce, 8 Ounce can
1/2 Cup Molasses, light
1/2 Cup Vinegar
1/2 Cup Brown sugar, packed
1/4 Cup Vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon Minced onion, instant
1 Tablespoon Seasoned salt
1 Tablespoon Dry mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon Orange peel, finely shredded
1-1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper, black
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic powder
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Use to baste beef or poultry last 15 minutes of grilling.
2cups (475 ml) cider vinegar
2/3 cup (150 ml) ketchup
1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
1 tbsp (15 ml). Tabasco
1 tbsp (15 ml). lemon juice
1 tbsp (15 ml). Worchestershire sauce
2 tbsp (30 ml). butter
1 tsp (5 ml). red pepper flakes
1 tsp (5 ml). dry mustard
1/2 tsp (2 ml). salt
1/2 tsp (2 ml). black pepper
Preparation
Combine all ingredients.
Cook for 30 minutes over medium low heat.
Allow to cool before using

2 quarts 10 min 10 min prep
Change to: quarts US Metric
1 quart mayonnaise
3/4 quart apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
salt
fresh ground black pepper
Place all ingredients in a very large blender or food processor.
(It may be necessary to do this in 2 batches; just add 1/2 of each ingredient and then repeat.) Blend for 1 minute, or until thoroughly combined and mixture is smooth.
Pour sauce into a large bowl.
Use when grilling chicken; brush lightly over the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
This sauce is also great for dipping; set some sauce aside for passing at the table.
Pour over those chickens you buy roasted at the grocery for a real easy treat.

Pungent Bbq Sauce
1 cup Olive oil
6 cl Garlic, chopped
1 cup Onion, minced
1 cup Green pepper, minced
1 cup Tomatos peeled and chopped
2 x Celery, minced
2 tbl Red win vinegar
2 tsp Pepper
1 tbl Basil
1 tbl Chili powder
1/4 cup Parsley, chopped
1 cup Red wine
1 cup Beef stock
1 cup Tomato puree
1 1/2 tsp Salt
Saute the garlic in the oil until browned and almost crisp. Add the onions and cook until tender but not browned. Add green pepper, tomatos, celery, basil, chili powder, stock and vinegar. Cover and let simmer for 40 min., then run the mixture through a blender or food processor. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 10 min., the longer this sauce simmers the better it makes it.
To serve this sauce can be used either hot or cold for basting or serving on the table.
Makes 5 1/2 cups and can be stored in the refrigerator covered.
Alabama White Barbecue Sauce
1 cup mayonaise
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tbl lemon juice
1 1/2 tbl freshly-ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne
Mix ingredients together and refrigerate.
This is a finishing sauce and should be applied at the last moments of cooking or it will break down.
Backyard Barbeque Sauce (not THE Backyard BBQ restaurant)
2 tbl Vegetable oil
1 x Onion, halved lengthwise and slivered
4 x Cloves garlic, halved
28 oz Italian plum tomatoes, crushed, with juices
1 1/2 cup Ketchup
1 cup Fresh orange juice
6 tbl Fresh lemon juice
6 tbl Red wine vinegar
1/2 cup Water
2 tbl All-natural liquid smoke, optional
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Dark brown sugar, packed
3 tbl Crystallized ginger, finely chopped
2 tbl Dark molasses
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
2 tbl Chili powder
1 tbl Ground coriander
1 tbl Dry mustard
1 tsp Salt
1. Heat the oil in a heavy medium-size saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to mix. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to very low and cook, uncovered, stirring often, until the sauce thickens and has a smooth texture, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Put sauce in food processor with onions and garlic included and processed until smooth.
3. Remove the onion and garlic with a slotted spoon and discard. Adjust seasonings to taste, and then, if sauce is too thick, add a small amount of water. Cook to blernd seasonings for 2 minutes. Cook to room temperature and refrigerate in covred containers for up to 1 week.
Makes about 5 cups

Creole Style BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
2 small cloves fresh garlic, peeled and diced fine
1 medium red onion, diced fine
1 stalk celery
1/2 each red and green bell pepper, seeds removed and diced
1 bay leaf, whole
1 pinch of paprika and cayenne each
2-1/2 cups fresh diced tomatoes
1/2 cup chili sauce
Cook the veggies in the butter until tender but not brown. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for about 15-18 minutes.

Take 3 ripe Barbeques and fit into a very very very large pot, a cauldron even. Add seasonings and liquid to fill half way. Bring to the boil and simmer till Barbeques soften. This can take sometime. Strain into clean, sterile bottles, cap and store.

INGREDIENTS
1 (46 fluid ounce) bottle ketchup
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons red pepper flakes, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Pour ketchup into a large saucepan. Pour vinegar into the ketchup bottle, shake to loosen any remaining ketchup, and pour into the saucepan. Save the bottle, and clean. Stir in the brown sugar, butter, and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium heat until almost boiling, but do not boil. For convenience, refrigerate leftover sauce in the clean ketchup bottle.
