Nearly all of the above are good suggestions, but it's not really necessary to convert. Start by just learning what the rabbis teach, and by reading everything you can get your hands on. You may decide against conversion, but I guarantee you will love what you learn about life (among other things). I also recommend "To Life" by Harold Kushner, and "This is My God" by Herman Wouk.

Start here:

1. Read this: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Judaism, 2nd Edition (The Complete Idiot's Guide) (Paperback) by Benjamin Blech (He's a Rabbi)

2. Start hanging around Jewish people and Jewish familes. Start living the traditions and mannerisms.

3. Read this: How to Talk Jewish (Paperback) by Jackie Mason, Ira Berkow

4. Read this: The Complete How To Handbook For Jewish Living: Three Volumes in One (Paperback)

The same way as you would any other religion. Join a temple. Call and ask for information in regard to joining and talk to the rabbi or someone who knows what the procedures are.Study the Torah and Kaballah..............shalom

You go over to a Rabbi, and tell them your desire, then you need by Halacha (Jewish Law) show real sincerity, and after many tests, if you pass them, you go to a ritual bath (Mikvah) and if you are a male, you get circumcised, get a Hebrew name, and you are one of the chosen ones.

it takes a lot of hard work to convert to judaism... the rabbi will try to convince you not to, he will assign you lots of work, and its pretty much like going to school again... but the only way to go about doing it is to see a rabbi and convince him to convert you
