I have a boyfriend. He's sweet, best man I've ever met , met him when we were 5. But the thing is, we don't give a damn about our friends or peoples comments. It's my parents who I worry about.

We've been together for some time. But my mom and dad dissagree with my choice, so do his. Kiet says his parents will do fine, but what about mine? What should I say to them?

Introduce you bf to your parents. Let your bf talk to your parents and let him tell you parents that his intentions are good and that he cares about you and your future. If they get to know him, then maybe they'll change their mind.

Ok, you are the one that has to live the rest of your life with you decisions. Now with respect to your parents, if it is anything other than race, there is a reason. I do not know how old you are but parents sometimes see what you do not because you are "in love" Trust your parents to a point that they care for you. They are not out to get people, just care for you. But if you "honestly" feel it is unjust, then trust your heart. But remember this, the decision, you will ultimatly answer for, ok. Be careful

Just tell them that they should be happy for you as long as he treats you good. Thats what i tell my daughter, and what my mom told me. I've dated just about every race except asian (because there arent really any around here) and my parents dont care, as long as hes good to me.

Just try to express your opinion slowly and calmly. If they don't listen, wait until they calm down, then you have the moment to strike
