You need a photo manager that can view RAW files. Install the software that's included with your camera. Or try Picasa - it's a free software that supports most RAW formats.
http://picasa.google.com/
You can then convert the photos that you want to print to jpeg's.

Every camera manufacturer has their own format for RAW images. And the format changes a bit whenever a new camera comes out. That's why WalMart (and other photo places) don't support RAW images, it's too hard for them to keep up. You'll need to convert the image yourself, using the software that came with your camera, and save it in a format that the photo place WILL recognize (either TIFF or JPG).
Windows can actually recognize and display RAW images *if* you go download the Windows RAW viewer -- it's free at Microsoft's web site.
Hope that helps.

Haven't worked with raw myself-but:
You will need software to work with it on the computer.
Yes it is for high quality work but it is for one that wants to spend hours refining 1 print!
There may be some "photo shops" that will print RAW not many!
I don't think you will see much difference if you shot a pic in Large Fine JPG, and RAW, but in RAW you have far more control over a touched up print!

If you work on a Mac, open it with Preview and save as a jpg or tiff.
If you are on a pc, you can download a free RAW converter. Just do a google search (or Yahoo - sorry). Also on pc, try to open it with Picture Viewer and save same as above. You might have to right click and tell the computer to open with Picture Viewer.
If you have PhotoShop, it will open it also if it is a newer version of PhotoShop.
RAW is great at minimizing "noise" but for most of us, switch your camera settings to highest JPG and you will never see a difference.
Good Luck

Not all imaging programs can read the RAW format. Photoshop can. If you can get Photoshop, or any other program that can read the format, save a copy in jpeg, and Walmart will be able to print them.

merely think of interior the digital camera, there are easy sensors. And those array of light sensors degree easy levels in a grid like style to create a picture. however the uncooked degree of light levels might desire to be switched over to JPG format. And the values earlier changing to standard JPG is the uncooked format. each and each digital camera producer has a distinctive uncooked format. i think of Kodak attempt to return up with a typical uncooked yet those issues by no potential caught on.
