Yes......let me look for my Sister's recipe. She has Hypoglycemia and isn't supposed to have sugar. Can't seem to find it. It's similar to the one above, but you use flour instead of cornstarch. The frozen apple juice has to be concentrated and natural---no sugar added.
It tasted pretty good too!

Try this one instead:

Sugar-Free Apple Pie
Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.01 Categories: Diabetic, Pies, Desserts

6 oz (1 can) frozen apple juice-unsweetened concentrate
5 To 7 apples
1 TB Butter or margarine
2 TB Rounded all-purpose flour
Nutmeg (optional)
1 Ts Cinnamon
1-9" double-crust pie shell, unbaked
1/4 Ts Salt

In a small saucepan, combine the frozen apple juice, flour, cinnamon and salt. Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture is thick and bubbly, 3 to 5 minutes. Peel and slice the apples and stir them into the apple juice mixture. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell and dot with butter. Position the top crust over the filling, cutting slits for the steam to escape. Trim and seal the edges. Brush the top very lightly with water and sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. Bake at 450º for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes more. Serves 6-8 Source: The Kansas Cookbook - Recipes from the Heartland

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

yes.. they even make a sugar free apple pie filling, I have bought it at walmart. If your making it from scratch just use sweetner instead of sugar. I use splenda it will tell you right on the box how much to use instead of sugar. You can use sugar free apple juice or apple sauce as a substitute then use splenda to sweeten them Go to splenda recipes online for more recipes. Your better off making a cobbler then a pie, less crust thats where the carbs are is in the crust. You can use corn flakes crumbled ontop for the cobbler or find a low carb crust, they have those at walmart too.

The crust is a killer because it's full of carbs and presents a problem when it converts to sugar in the bloodstream.
I have made this in the past and found it a pretty good substitute:
-core and slice about 3 apples.
-pan sear the apple slices in a saucepan with about 1 T. margarine.
-add cinnamon and nutmeg to taste.
-add 1 T. lemon juice.
-cover on low heat for 10 minutes.
serve about 1/2 c. over about 1/2 c. crumbled saltines.

try making apple pie with splenda. instead of sugar. Just fellow the recipe to what it says i know some people who uses splenda. in cooking. plus i also have family who are diabetics. try it if your family likes this idea. splenda tastes like sugar but it is a way for people who are diabetic to enjoy sweets. i know my mom likes to eat treats some times. that's my input.!
