it works only sometimes and when it does it only works half of the time and it said to download this java thing and i did that and now it still dont work.

Don't use limewire, the best way to download music is to use a bittorrent client. Azureus is one of the most popular clients right now. It can be downloaded at http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
Then all you need to do is search for what you want (artist/album/movie) at a popular bittorrent site (listed below). I like btjunkie.org, but you can use any. Then when you find what you want, you download the small torrent file. Double-click the torrent file and it will open in your bittorrent client and begin downloading.

Delete the program altogether, re-install it, and from limewire itself download Limewire Pro,that is much safer and easy to use then normal Limewire.

Yes, change your software (that ones terrible). Like the previous person said... torrent is the way to go! Lots of them about and they`re pretty virus and pop up free.

Completely uninstall it and reinstall it free from windows catalogue which should be at the top of the list if you click on all programs in the start menu .
