Jesus

LORD, God, Father, Abba- this is to whom I pray in the name of Y'shua hamashiach or in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The guy above quoted I John 5:7 - this shows that God is triune in being - so they are all one, though three.

Y'shua is the actual name of our Saviour - there has been speculation that the name "Jesus" is a Catholic concoction incorporating the name of Zeus to appease the pagans. So I pray in both names, mostly in the name of Y'shua though - but God honors all prayers from the heart directed toward the Saviour who died on Calvary for our sins, whether you know him by the name Jesus, Y'shua, or both.

God bless you.

When we pray we should be praying to God, with the help of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus.

In the Gospels Jesus directed us to pray to God the Father not to Him. When praying to the Father we are directed to to finish our requests with "in Jesus name we ask these things of you". Jesus, Himself tells us that if we ask it of Him, He will do it. He also says that if we ask the Father In His name that the Father will answer our prayer. The current role Jesus has in heaven is to interceed to the Father for us. Since He is our big brother we can ask Him to prepare our Dad for what we are requesting, whatever it is, and He will do it. Just as in our earthly relationships it helps sometimes to have someone else besides us, present something so it will be received or understood better

Jesus of course. That's where the power is, in His name. Deomons laugh if we tell them to leave us alone, they don't laugh if we say in Jesus' name leave us alone. They know what's up, they RUUUN!
