With the way you put it, I think that dansmith got it right. Satin try to trick into beleaving if she ate the fruit it would make as gods knowing good and eval,and that is what she wanted. So she disobayed God. But the bible does say to be Christ like.

Gods Character, we are created in the image of God, we have to the ability to speak those thing that are not as though the they were. The only part of Gods character he reserved for himself is ability to know all.

It says in the book of Leviticus for us to be holy, for I (God) am holy. (see 11:44,45, 19:2, 20:7).
We are to be imitators of Christ, Christ being God in the flesh. That is what it means to be as God.

Yes it does...because we ate of the fruit of knowledge...which god had forbidden us we became as gods with the knowledge of good and evil...so it up to each of us to choose what we do...be good or evil
