please note that i have never had a wax so i just need a guide to help in my decision.

It depends what your preference is. Bikini obviously does your bikini line, and leaves your hair (down there) entact, while brazilian takes off everything, except for a little strip down the middle.
Obviously brazilian hurts much more, but I think in both cases, you have to take your panties off. So if you are worries about getting naked from the waist down, sorry girlie, you're gonna have to bite the bullet. But don't worry, they are proffessionals, and see it all the time.
I don't know about this business about "buttholes." When I got mine done, I didn't bend over "doggy style," so don't freak out. However, you do have to lie down on the table and lift your leg up, so they can get the hairs down below. So you might have to be prepared to do that.
If you have never had a wax, you might be in for a shock, so I would suggest getting your bikini done first, then maybe a brazilian later. Also, brazilians cost more, and you have to endure more pain, although they can be worth it in the end.
You can also do the "french" if you want, and as it was explained to me by someone in the salon, that's everything - no hair at all, you are completely nude down there.

I would try a bikini first before doing a whole brazilian. See if you can handle it (it does hurt!), if you like the kind of wax being used. Also, it can help to make sure you won't have some kind of reaction to the type of wax that is used. Its best to begin with a smaller area.

well, a brazilian actually involves everything being waxed off then bending over doggystyles and they do your butthole. Nair is pretty good.
