I gave an update to folks about a cat, and one answer said I should get off here and work to make money to pay the vet bill. Well, I work 48 to 60 hours a week. And I sometimes would like to work more and get more money. However, my grandchildren also need my attention. Walk in my shoes before you judge. Thank you to all others.

some people are just bitter then again some people come on here and see questions that are ridiculous, so you feel obligated to be rude, unless it is a kid asking a question, i think some people deserve it. but hey that's just my opinion
by the way you work too much, if yo get rid of the cat, and do not pay the vet bill you might be able to work less

Walk in my shoes ( and even then don't judge!)
Too right!!!
Well some people just like to let off steam arbitrarily. Ignore it, or think of a funnier comeback !
I even find a way to laugh about abusive name -calling now.
If they're out of guidelines you can click the abuse button and then it will be removed.
Have you heard of the Blue Cross? They help with vet bills in the UK.
Sorry your cat is poorly,(they make me sneeze!)

Hopefully it is only some people who are mean - not everyone.

I suppose that if you aren't talking to someone face to face & if there is no chance that you'll ever meet that person, then, if you are a particular kind of person, you might find it really easy or think it very funny to be rude.

Don't take nasty comments to heart. They are not said by anyone who is important to you ... only said by some meaningless nobody who gets their kicks out of hurting others.

Chin up

People are always going 2 be mean & judgemental. The fact that we are on the internet and they cant say it to your face makes it easy for some people.
Dont sweat the losers i am sure other people like ME would really appreciate your help.
Keep up the good work. :)

I think it has to do with low intelligence and moron capability combined with access to a computer and the perverse need to put someone-- ANYONE down to their level.
I think it's a symptom of the current American society that disparages knowledge and ability, is taught how to act/interact by TV and ruled by children who, one day will understand this message ( I hope).
I try to ignore them and attempt to uplift those who have needs-- about flowers, raising children, dealing with loved ones in harm's way, dealing with death of children, life's more important and painful times. I even try to help with homework-- with DIY stuff-- using the skills a lifetime have taught me.
So my advise about the moronic folks out there-- ignore them-- we can hope they go away-- Darwins' Theory you know.

Some people are ignorant and probably don't realize that some people's feelings can be very hurt by such stupid comments. It's easy for people to say whatever stupid and mean things they want on YA because they won't really have to answer for it and won't get their a** kicked for it either. They are just weak-minded, inconsiderate, and probably very insecure people.

This is not the most reputable source of information anyway--it is only meant for recreational use; therefore, people reserve the right to be nasty or unhelpful.

Though I am of course sorry that someone would make such unnecessarily disparaging remarks to you.

Because it's easy to be mean when hiding behind a keyboard...some people forget that there are actually people on the other side. They can get away with it because they don't have to face any consequences from their actions whilst retaining their anonymity.
