Once he/she is taken to their room then yes you can. It's not a big deal at all. However, remember that your friend will want to SLEEP for the next 24 hours. Don't stay long! Keeping him up isn't good for him at all and will only be hard on him. However, going to see him isn't bad either. It helps to know that your friends care about you when you've just had surgery.

Most hospitals will let friends in to the room, but generally only family into the surgery recovery area. Where I live, friends can go in the surgery recovery area, but not the last place I lived.
Also, realize your friend will be groggy from surgery and may not remember until much later. Visit 3-4 hours later and they'll appreciate the visit more.

Usually yes, you can depending on the state you are in and what they allow. But the patient is usually groggy and still under the effects of antisthetic and wont be able to stay awake or respond right away.It is usually better to go the day after surgery.

properly at the instant back interior the summertime of 2006 I had a understanding the enamel surgical operation. easily understanding enamel sugery there replaced into 5 interior my mouth. properly what befell is they placed me to sleep for the period of it and all i understand is that I had all of it ok til it befell. Yep I wakened and observed them dig deep in my mouth, however the humorous factor is i needed to assert some thing yet no words got here out. All in all after the entire adventure replaced into over i replaced into in basic terms chuffed the gums healed exact. The frustrating section replaced into ingesting and getting adjusted to no longer having them.
