I like these kinds of questions, thank you. Jesus was and is the true God of creation made flesh, and murdered in cold blood by the worldly people. Some people say they have accepted Christ. But the fact remains it is not a question of people accepting Christ, moreover it is a question of, does God the people or person? Accepting Christ alone doesn't stop the sin nature in men. That only comes by way of Acts 2: 38 KJV

You mean go to heaven, but still not know Jesus Christ? No. You have to know the Savior in order to receive Salvation. Jesus loves us, and so we should love Him! Although works don't get us to heaven, they should be a product of faith. If we are saved (by grace) then we should be thankful, yes? Thus, if we are truly thankful, we will want to do what we can to become more and more like our loving Savior, and a result of that would be works. Our own works don't get us to heaven, but they can demonstrate our thankfulness that we are going their, because we are saved by grace. God bless!

James 2:18 (NIV)
But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
