Tell you what, your lucky shes still your girlfriend, I personally would have walked out the door, she needs to lose 35lbs, but what about when she has too look at your bald head, beer gut and hairy back when your 45, what then an extreme makeover or a divorce, get a life, you should get married when you grow up.

I bet those 35lbs havent kept you from getting some good nooky, getting your laundry done, and anything else a wife would do......

You are not being very nice. You should love her for who she is and not how much she weight. That shouldn't be the main reason why you are not marrying her. You honest word doesn't help her to lose the weight either. Instead of being so harsh on her why not say it in a nicer way. maybe something like this...we should go work out so we can look good on our wedding day when we decide to get married. This way you're not pointing fingers at her and you are also encourging her to loose weight.

WOW..No not a good answer ESPECIALLY if she's self-conscious about her weight. Some girls (and guys) take stuff like that too personal. If you're not planning on marrying her or don't see it in the near-by future than just let her know, in a POLITE way. My boyfriend talks about marrying me but sometimes when it comes up he'll joke about it and say in 30 years or so and even though I know he's playing it still kinda bothers me. Some girls just want to get married and are sensitive about that subject. But just let her know how you're REALLY feeling, if you're not ready right now just let her know, and if you're still just considering. Just tell her the truth about what you feel. Hope I helped! =D

Well now let me see..... She could loose the 35 pounds but now what are you going to do about your ugliness and fat a** ?
The 35 pounds will be the extra weight of stress you have given her which she is probably in the process of losing now once she dumps you. She'll get married alright. It just won't be to you.

I'm sorry I can't agree with you on that one!! If you love someone size shouldn't matter because I thought love was reflected on more than just good looks but whats on the inside of that person i'm quite sure her personality hasn't changed because of the weight!!! However, instead of patronizing them and belittling her you could just help her lose the weight by cooking lighter or exercising more. I'm sure that really hurt her heart for you to say that especially sum1 she is in love wit and wants to get married. If you about to continue to treat her like that mayb you are not ready for marriage becuase arriage is a life long commitment where people go through physical changes. Best of luck 2 u!!!

You are a Pig!!! Total swine!!!
How dare you even dare use her weight as an excuse not to get married when in reality you should have been honest with her and told her that you are gay and that you have been seeing that other guy you work with! She has suspected it before but she just wanted to believe that it wasn't true. Now, she will know the truth!!! I hope she spreads it all over town too, and that you lose your job and your "Boyfriend"!! You deserve it!!!!

What are you going to do when she gains the weight back from having your children? Dump her? I hope she realizes the jerk you really are and takes her 35 extra pounds elsewhere. And good luck in life with that attitude. You'll need it!

Yes! Good answer!

I am chubby doll, and when my man says lose the extra weight i do it!!

Control your woman!! You are starting on the right track!! If you don't get her into shape she will just get lazy & lose her looks!

Make her work for your love! You must b doctor or engineer right?? You WILL BE JUDGED on how your wife looks.

And honestly, men can't really judge a womens TRUE weight.
So if you think she needs to lose 35lbs, its probably about 50 she needs to lose!!
When she is fit she will be prettier , happier, healthier....

If you loose some weight with her and explain that her health is important to you she might be able to accept that answer. I for one would not marry someone who told me to loose weight, unless it was for a medical reason. Hope your walking down the aisle--with someone you truly love and adore for who she is on the inside.
