I did not recieve the answer I wanted, but such is life. 2nd Tank Marines is close enough.

I was with 2nd Tank Bn, RCT 5, 1st Marine Division for Operation Iraqi Freedom I.
I have stayed in my MOS the entire time I have been in.

BCT at Fort Dix, NJ; AIT at Fort Lee, VA

1986-1989 Fort Hood, TX

1989-1992 Giessen, Germany

1992-1994 Fort Hood, TX

US Army 3 years; Basic - Ft Jackson, SC. 1st AIT - Ft Devons, MA. 2nd AIT - Ft Belvoir, VA trained to be a Construction Surveyor. Assigned to 864th Engineer Battalion, Ft Lewis, WA, shortly thereafter they went Combat Heavy, no female personnel allowed. Assigned to Hdqtrs, 593rd Support Group at Ft Lewis as a Clerk Typist. Didn't even know how to type at the time. Oh well, I figured it out. Honorably discharged from Ft. Lewis, WA.

Retired from the Military, did NOT stay in one MOS (Trained, Cross-Trained, and Re-Trained as I moved up the ranks), finished my Military Career as Financial Manager.
