Stopping power is a misnomer. Shot placement is the #1 determining factor on ending a bad guy's threatening behavior. Looking at the .45 ACP, a FMJ could be the best 'stopper' if you first had to shoot through an object like a car door, or such since the others would likely not penetrate. The silvertip is a jacket hollowpoint manufactured by Winchester. I personally carry CCI Gold Dot 230 grain JHP in my .45 for what its worth.
Wadcutters ,which were orginally designed for paper are more effective in damaging tissue that a round nose bullet. I personally would stay away from 'magic bullets' like the glazer. They fragment great, unfortunately they also do not penetrate as deep and are less likely to damage the vital organs that would lead to rapid blood loss and incapacitation of the bad guy.

All have the capabilty for stopping power just remember to look for the highest grain in the shot I use platnum tipped in my S/W 500 magnum works great/Also each bullet tip is designed to do diffrent things in your case silver tip is a harder tip and will penatrate bone while the other tips are made to expand on contact severing arteries and organs but could deflect off of bone, remember unless you shoot something in the heart or lung ,head- will drop allmost at an instance, all other shots make (gut ) shots use the bodys secreations to contaminate other organs causing failure to those organs (stomach acid)

In .45 ACP, the Federal Hydra-Shock has long been considered an excellent self defense cartridge.

JHP you didnt mention fragmentaion rounds like glazier safety slugs . They hold alot of stopping power. Federal hydra shoks would be my follow up.
