I am in the same boat. I think they are disgusting, but they are my son's favorite. They are a fruit right, so I let him eat as many as he wanted. Then, I found out they are great cavity causers because they are loaded with sugar and stick to the teeth. Sigh... so hard to do the right thing sometimes!! I let him have them ocasionaly as I am sure they aren't THAT bad! Everything in moderation, I suppose. Same rule adults should follow.

Raisins are full of natural sugar, they are a fruit, fruits contain natural sugar. Yes they are very healthy great for the digestive system. No they are not "bad" unless you're the one doing the diapering of a child who LOVES raisins.

a lot of anything is not good for a toddler. The sugar is not needed plus the child might be getting to much iron.

Cut back on the raisins. That old saying is true: you CAN have too much of a good thing. It is always best to provide a balanced diet for your child.

I think moderation is o.k. My child's dentist said that raisins are really bad for their teeth, so not to give them a lot.

It is bad for their little teeth...but I still give them to my kids, I just help them clean their teeth well when done. If you don't clean them off well it can cause cavities...same with fruit snacks.

They work like prunes, they'll make the child poop. I give them to my daughter ONLY when she's constipated.
