There is only one form of sexual expression in the Bible that meets with God's full approval, and that is the sexual relationship between a married man and woman for life. There is no way to get around that, if you are honest.
It is very difficult to hold to that position as a Christian as many of us know friends or even have family members whom we love who are gay. In the Bible, there is a list of 7 things God hates. Homosexuality is not mentioned, but divorce is. God hates divorce, primarily because of what it does to children.
Any other sexual expression is less that ideal. And we are all guilty of disobeying that to one extent or another. The men who dragged the woman caught in an act of adultery (and you'll notice they left the man alone, although both parties would have been guilty), to Jesus waited for Jesus to condemn her, as they already had, but Jesus wrote in the dirt. According to early Christian writings, Jesus wrote the men's names, and under that, their particular sexual crimes. And then he said- basically, that yes, according to the law someone who breaks this law should be stoned- so who's first? The men dropped their rocks and slowly walked away. If we were all judged by the law, by God's perfect example, we would all be dead. There is a way out though.

You're right, there are lots of people who claim to be "christians" yet treat others in a way that's opposite of what Jesus says. It's prideful, and it's very hypocritical. But it's always easy to point the finger away from yourself. Human nature, we suck sometimes :/ I was about to tell you to quit generalizing, but then I saw your last sentence. It really does give the impression that all Jesus-following people are a bunch of a**holes. I'm not I'm not! lol

What is this actual message? Does it mention anything about homosexuality one way or the other? When did gay marriage start being as issue? Has gay marriage always been around? Why do gays want to get married or do what straight people do?

I'll concede lots (not myself, you've never met me - don't judge me) treat homosexuallity as if it is somehow worse than anyother sin.
This is contrary to biblical teaching as the Bible says all sin is equal.
