Honestly you can use 87 up to 91, it will still run. How it runs may be a question, though.

The best thing to do is to consult your owner's manual. Some cars require premium fuel, some do not. The only way to really find out for sure is to read that neglected Owner's Manual in your glovebox.

If you don't have one, I recommend getting one. They come in very handy sometimes. I am sure you could find one for cheap on eBay and possibly at a local salvage yard. If you don't find any there, there's always the dealer.

Regular or 87 octane unless manufacturer recommends something else

if it doesnt have a "hot chip" you can get by with 87 octane, if ya do have a "hot chip" go with 93
