Yes, if the politician was for securing our boarders and enforcing our existing laws on illegal immigration. I would vote for that person from either party.

Register as an "Independent" and vote for the politician of your liking.

Although, I think the best policy is Vote Them All Out! Let's start over we couldn't do any worse!

LEGAL OR LEAVE!

It'd be a deciding factor, for me. If a candidate was pro-amnesty, I don't think I could support em. I think illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple, and anything that smells like variance or lack of cohesion in opposition to illegal immigration just doesn't seem like a good idea...I think the problem's of sufficent magnitude that something needs to be said/done about it, in full light of all relevant facts...

Lol. Who would you vote for? Republicans have been in control for 6 years and they've done nothing! Maybe neither party is going to do it and people should worry about things like the war in Iraq and Fairness in the Economy and Health Insurance.

If a candidtate was honestly taking a strong, hard stance on the border, I would vote for him.

I believe this issue to be one of the most important issues this country has ever faced.

Not only based on their view of immigration, although their stance on it would probably persuade my vote, based on that and other issues.

I will only vote for a person who is anti-illegal...I am researching people on a sample ballot to be absolutely sure I do not give my vote to anyone that is for amnesty! It is time to take back our country, our schools, our hospitals and on & on....
Attrition thru strict local, state & federal enforcement is the only option for me..

No. Iraq is number one issue. Immigration is a Republican distraction.

No. However, I do find that most candidates who share my view of immigration (that all illegal aliens need to be promptly deported regardless of their nation of origin) also share my view on most other issues. They seem to be level headed, not basing their views on emotion but on fact and logic.
