It depends if you are going out just as friends be aware of not telling him anything because u already know he likes somebody else don´t fall for him You already know that he is not into you! Go out with other friends and visualize him only as a friend accept that his mind is somewhere else or you can get hurt. Don´t sabotage yourself, someone else will come.

If I were in that situation I would be sure first . If i find that he does like someone else , I would say go for it I don't need a two timer and I would be gone..

if you mean that you are going out with someone and he likes someone else, you need to let him go. break up with him, your relationship won't go anywhere anyway and he desrves to be happy just like you do!
