Meeting someone at a bar: Good or bad?

Please share your experiences, both good and bad.

I should have worded that differently. I mean is hooking up with someone you've met at a bar good or bad? D'oh.

it depends. u need 2 find out as much about the person as u can. the only thing i can really say iz use good judgement and in this case judge a book by itz cover. because remember that if it doesnt work out there'z tonz of other places u can meet some1!!!

It's easy to tell what the other person is really thinking at a bar. First off, you don't even need to ask them stuff if they start to get a buzz. Second, if one of you is drinking noticably faster than the other, there are a lot of nerves for some reason. It's a good idea, but I would strongly recommend keeping the drinks to a minimum.

If its a strip bar, then forget it; can anyone say LOSER!!!!! If its just a regular bar, then I say go ahead. Most guys/girls invite someone for drinks rather than dinner, because if its not going good its easier to go. May work out better for both of you.
