No worries. They'll grow back right away. I had a cat who loved to nap by the fireplace....he'd get so close he'd melt his whiskers!

Cats shed their whiskers, just like their fur. Is your little kitty still fairly young? When my cat was around 6 months old her whiskers looked like they had been cut too. My friends' have kitties that are between 6-7 months old and they have the same "cut" whiskers look going on. I guess it must be something that their bodies go through at that age. This is about the age that they start growing their adult teeth and the baby teeth will fall out. Perhaps it just has to do with the transition into maturity. Kitten whiskers are definitely thinner and more dainty than adult cat whiskers. I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as she's normal in every other way then they'll probably just grow back on their own. Good luck to you & your kitty!

I hope you didn't cut the cats whisker's off.

They don't all fall out at once, someone has to deliberately cut them off on purpose.

Who could have done that to your cat.

That's cruel.

If kitty isn't in obvious pain, let it be, they'll grow back.
