Become a vegeterian, it's simple, snack on fruits and veggies, and take down your food income. Also drink a lot of water and excercise for like 20 minutes a day. You'll see results in a few weeks, be patient. Not eating at all isn't smart, good luck.

If your friends are telling you that your not fat..then you are probably not..I think most women feel that they need to lose some weight..even when we really don't. If you feel that you need to lose some weight..don't ever go without eating at all..(as you said it made you sick, and it's very unhealthy.) Try to cut back on drinking soda (if you do) and replacing it with glasses of water, don't eat anything past 7:00 p.m. other wise it's just stored as fat because you don't have time to burn the calories. Try eating several small meals throughout the day, instead of a few large meals (this helps you to burn calories easier as well). Your already athletic and do a lot sports, so that's good..you could start doing aerobics...(try searching for different aerobic videos that you can do at home)..this is the best exercise for burning calories..which is what you want in order to lose weight. Another thing you could try would be to start writing down what you eat during a normal day..and cut back on some of the foods that may be higher in fat or carbs. Good luck.

Are you active or do you just play sports occasionally?

If your friends tell you you aren't fat, the chances are you should try to trust them. If you still don't see it, challenge one of them to get in better shape with you.

If you are serious about going on a diet don't do it alone. It is self defeating and usually not the healthiest choice for you. Talk to a dietitian. Reading the books is great, but a dietitian can fit a plan to your life.

If you are already active try changing up your routine, I work out constantly yet when I try to lose weight I always change it up to get out of the rut I'm in.

Keep a food diary, write down everything you eat and see where your weaknesses are. Indulge on occasion, just keep moderate portions of everything.

if your friends tell you your not fat, then listen to them. if you play sports and work out, then your healthy. You probably just have a normal body type. If you really want to feel good about yourself, then try to pay attention to serving sizes, don't eat when your full, and don't eat much junk food. If you really want to be a vegetarian, then good for you! I've been one for about a year now, and my body (besides my c-cups) is completley normal for a girl. it's okay to have some fat on you, if it's not much then your not overweight.
