As far as the guys are concerned, if this guy who you like is your boyfriend's best friend, then as between them they should want the best for one another.
I'm not saying it would be the easiest thing in the world, but if your boyfriend cares for you and for his best friend, then he shouldn't come between you and the guy you want. I wouldn't, and none of my closest friends would either if they were in your boyfriend's position.
Talk it out with the guy you like and see if you can decide how things would work out between the three of you if you two decided to take things further.
Good luck!

best thing to do is to end one relationship before starting another one. Nicely say to the guy that you don't feel like you guys should be a couple. Then.....don't go after the other guy too soon. Time will take care of that.

1. spend some time with this other guy to make sure.
2. make a decision. you are old enough to do that
3. tell the wrong guy that you made a mistake. Realize there may be hard feedlings. Be sure this new guy is best for you.

If this began recently then explain to your current boyfriend that it was a mistake and that you really feel something towards his friend... try to be honest but take into account his feelings as well...

The ex's are off limits without consent from the other guy, and consent is rarely given (though I did it that way with my ex, she dating my best friend but he wasnt interested in her)...meaning you need to get out of it...

I think you blew it. Isn't that Code #1, you dont date your friends friends, brothers friends, BOYFRIENDS FRIENDS?? Its just wrong, nothing good will come of this. Unless HE'S reeeeally into you, and your willing to ruin ALOT of friendships, let this one go.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
If you think it will work out than leave your BF for his friend. Just know that you will be destroying a friendship in the process.
