Watch what you eat..
Limit sugars & carbs. Stay away from the fast food joints & eat plenty of fresh fruits & vegetables. Also eat canned or frozen veggies. Eats lean meats & try to keep from frying things. If you want potatoes, eat the small red ones, they are better that the good old fashioned Idaho spuds. I prefer the Idaho spuds, but we must all make sacrifices.... Use Splenda instead of sugar, switch to kosher salt instead for regular idodized table salt that is full of chemicals. Use unsalted butter instead of margarine. Drink 1% milk instead of the more fatty milks like 2% or whole.
Cook in portions so there are little to no left overs. Get plenty of sleep, plenty of exercise & limit alcohol consumption.... Limit fruit juices & drink plenty of water & stick with diet sodas, coffee or tea. Fruit juices are mostly sugar, they are fattening....
Moderation, portion control & a well balanced diet along with exercise & sleep will help keep you healthy!!!!!

You would start by keeping track of what you are eating. This helps by analyzing the foods you are eating today, how many calories, how much fat, carbs etc. This helps you understand what you need to do to eat more healthfully. There are some great books that you can find at a bookstore. Some promote specific eating plans. No one works for everyonne. Many have done well with sources like www.ediet.com

You should limit your self to less sweets. Snack on fruits, or dried fruit, baked snacks, (some dried fruit tastes like candy, so you can satiffy your sweet tooth!) Also, eat a lot of good vegetables. Not like mashed potatoes, you can eat a vege stir fry or if you like, make a pot of good soup and have bread or rice with a bowl for a few days. Hope this helped! Feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions!

NO mayo, butter, margarine, miracle whip, salt, or other fattening foods. Also, stay away from fast food and carbohydrates. Try cardio to burn fat and pilates to build muscle. Workout 2-5 days a week depending on how fit you want to be.

First cut out any junk food- like chips and cookies and most definitely pop (pop makes yu=ou retain water=weight) Then replace any white bread you eat with whole wheat, adn eat fruit and veggies for snacks- and work out as often as possible.

try www.mypyramid.gov. you register w/your age, sex, height & weight and it will give you a personal pyramid that you log into and enter the foods you have eaten as well as your physical activity and it tracks your calories and breaks it down to each of the food groups. I find this really helpful to keep below my calorie level inorder to lose weight.

I have been able to keep weight off by eating lots of protein. Also, eating lots of fruits and vegetables is healthy. My mum is a firm believer in eating fruits and vegetables. Plus, she never gets sick because she is so healthy, thanks to eating right.
