Stuff like kill animals or beat up people for no reason? What I am asking is, will a person, during a black out do something that is completely out of their character?

Most definitely...some people have killed someone while driving in a blackout...i hit a parked car, got arrested, got out, came home, slept and woke up the next day and thought it was all a bad dream, until I saw the papers that I came home with...

I think so alcohol in large amounts can change your perceptions on what seems right and wrong. I do not know about the killing but maybe belligerence and attitude.

yes definitely I chugged down a 26oz bottle of vodka and I peed in the closet of my hotel room.

Generally when I blackout, I just go to sleep. Wow, I'm such a dangerous drunk!
