So stop shaving, duh! Do you really think a lot of nicks and bumps and sores are more attractive than a nice natural bush? Shaving is so 20th century anyway!

I would suggest waxing, but if you are afraid of the pain do the following things:
Get a smaller head razor(if that makes sense) and always use a new blade when saving. Be sure to soak the area in warm water for at least 5 minutes to soften the hair. Go to a porn/lingerie/fetish type shop (if you are old enough) and look for a shave cream product (I use a stuff called Coochy and it works WONDERFULLY). Generally if you soften the hair and shave with the grain, then again against the grain, you can get a clean shave with minimal bleeding and bumps. Try to avoid shaving over an area more than once or twice because repetative motions will just irritate the skin further.
Once you are done PAT the skin dry because rubbing will irritate it, later on a non-scented, gentle lotion and you should be razor burn and pain free for days.

First and foremost....use a new razor, do this is steps
1. Take a warm bath...while setting in bath....soap the area once or twice. The warm water will losen the hair folicals .
2. using very lilttle cream(shaving cream) shave with the hair flow....it will look shady but you will get enough off to begin the next step.
3. Rinse that off...then apply the shaving cream again..using a bit more..but not so you can't see the hair, before shaving against the hair, you may want to shave it from the side first. starting in the middle...shave towards your thigh , .
4. Rinse again...use you cream once more but this time apply enough like if you were shaving your legs. Then you may begain to shave against the hair. Use short strokes and feel the area for loose hairs.
5. Rinse and when done shaving...pat dry...not completely, use a baby oil or a heavier oil to put on the area...you may want to apply lotion afterward...for two to three days...to forgo the hair bumps that WILL happen if the area becomes dry.
I know this seems like a lot to do...but with a few tries,,,you will have mastered it in no time at all.

After years of shaving and at home waxing, I finally decided to go to a professional and get a bikini wax. Definitely the way to go!! It's more expensive I know, but so worth it. With shaving it's hard to get the results you're looking for, but if your determined to not wax then the best idea would be to get an electric shaver and do it daily.

I recommend Nair or a good wax...I've never gotten a close enough shave with a razor either...Nair always leaves it smooth and silky. Just be sure to use a skin conditioner of some kind after using it so that you don't get irritated.

Always shave with the grain to avoid nicks and ingrown hair. Try to use a better type razor and not a disposable.
Treat yourself to a wax once in a while, you may have better results.
