I want to understand the essence of Branston in the minds of the British people. What does it say to you, what does it remind you of, make you think about, what do you associate with it and do you think it is still relevant today?

In the mind of this Canadian, it's more a pickle than a brand. There's a jar of Branston pickle in my fridge -- Crosse & Blackwell brand.

It's there for my Plougman's lunches, so there is that association as well...

pickle of course. Cheese and pickle sandwiches. I love other, much better pickles and chutneys but there is only one for a white bread and cheddar cheese sandwiche and that is Branston - pref sandwiche pickle and not the chunky one!

"BRING OUT THE BRANSTON" sorry but i think its too late. Branston have brainwashed the public into thinking that the company do nothing else but sauces! you's have only yourselves to blame. Maybe you should get another catchy foody phrase!

Pickle, it can only be. Especially eating it with the traditional Ploughmans lunch in a good pub ( big plate of meat cheese and bread) or putting it on grilled cheese. I still buy it from a online importer. goodwoods.com if you're interested.
