In other quote "you are your own worst enemy". Self confidence is the hardest thing to obtain without it you can't achieve other things.

The more you know your self, the more you know how to handle things around you. It is very hard to know yourself, it takes some people their whole lives.
You know that story about a guy who walks to work and falls in a hole and spends hours trying to get out, the next day he falls in the hole and know the way out, the next day he walks around the hole, and the next day he finds another route. That guy found his 'weakness' and conquered it. It takes time to learn what you are capable of.

It means one must practice the discipline of self-control before trying to control others. Jesus referred to it in saying words to the effect "pluck the beam out of thine own eye before attempting take the splinter out of another's eye."

Make yourself a better person. Fight off ur inner deamons. It is harder to do this, because you have to first admit that you are evil. That just wouldn't rest well with our egos. ;)
