Everyone makes mistakes.... NO ONE is perfect!

You're able to figure things out. That's good. Now you just need the experiences.

Everything will come in time.

Oh, thank you! I thought I was the only one!
Don't you just love it when they say to you, "With your IQ, you should be getting all "A"'s without even trying!" and you mumble under your breath, then why am I getting a D in geometry and I'm trying.....really! and you start thinking that the results of all those IQ tests were just an accident, and you're really an idiot!
Been there, done that.
I discovered that part of it was that grade school was so incredibly easy, I never developed study habits worth a darn. When I got to high school and needed to apply myself, I hadn't a clue how! By the time I got to college, I had managed to learn how to learn, and held a 3.5 average there. Don't despair!

Intelligence works like marbles and jars. Some people get a fairly even spread, and some get all of their marbles dropped in one jar. Most of the book smart people I've met have no common sense, or people skills. Einstein was a genius, but horrible in school. Given time, you'll find your calling. Unfortunately, you'll need to be patient until then.

Multimodal intelligences-people are smart in diiferent ways. You probably are really good at one thing; When you are truly EG, you are strong in one subject area and do lousy at the others. FInd your strength.

Try to pay attention. Just because you're a "genius" doesn't make you smart. You should try exercising your brain.
