I don't believe any muslim wants to hurt me. I can't be sure that Christians don't want hurt me, but I'd be more afraid of Christians than muslims. Maybe we should have some sort of register that Christians have to check in daily and submit a plan of their activities with the police ? That may make me feel safer.

What you had is a wrong believe and I don't know how old are you? and when did you have these ideas ? may be after 9/11! but what about the years before?was that feeling there?. The problem, that some of the Americans do not lessen to others ! and the take what is published in the different American medias.
The story started after Russians invasion to Afghanistan.
What happened in Afghanistan was a political problem where it started among Afghans and Russians, the afghan been supported by Arab and Americans and the aim was for America to have a base in Afghanistan like what they are doing now in Iraq.
After withdraw of Russian from Afghanistan the friends started to divide the share and hence the problems started " but Islam and Muslims were present in America ages before that"
The other problem for you that you do not understand or read about it very well and in depth, I bit you if you read in depth about Islam you will be a Muslim, because simply it is the word of ALLAH, and once you read about it you will be astonished by the amount of science in it what ever your field OR knowledge!believe me this is the truth.
Lessen to the others as much you lessen to your president and American media.

why does everyone hate the muslims?
the muslims are trying to save there country and someone is not allowing that to happen. it is sad. how would you feel if you lived in a place where you were born and then that place is gone? like your mother or father not there cause of a person that destroyed them.
i am a muslim and i am proud to be one. a muslim may become crazy but hey some people are causing them to do so.
you might go crazy if some one kept on bothering you for Decades or so. i think muslims should not be blamed for what is happening.so i am sorry if muslims have done anything wrong.

"All Muslims"? Do you mean those you see on TV who have just had their village burned down by US Marines, or do you mean those walking around New York City, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Albuquerque? Again, there is a HUGE difference between the perceptions of an Iraqi Muslim towards America and a Muslim in Phoenix attending Arizona State University.
What you are doing is propagandizing by generality.

First of all, the secret services of the USA and other Western countries have messed with their countries' politics, governments, and economies for decades if not centuries.
Second of all, we have a defined a resource (oil) that they have most of but cannot use all that well and that we want a lot (even though there are many better alternatives), so we have invested a great deal of power in them, whether they were ready for that or not.
They don't want 'our culture' invading theirs but they don't see how to create cultural items (video tapes, clothing, rock stars, etc) that would give their people righteous alternatives to ours, and so the only way that they can see out of this is to destroy the source of the unrighteous meddling and power and culture.

From the time they were little children they were taught and still are being taught that we are bad people and the enemy.
We mean to hurt them and we hate them. Before 9/11 most of us including myself never heard of them and certainly didn't hate them. We had a family that was muslim and a mosque and that was just their religion and we never thought about it. they are really nice people and loved in the community. All of the sudden it was them or us. The World Trade Center gave us a horror show and we watched those people die. they said, those are Muslims and we all shock our head and said, "Why?"
"Why did they do that?" Then we learned they were dancing in the street celebrateing when all those people died. We had to wonder again. "Why?" Then we were told they hate us and want there religion to take over the world. We all have to die because we are not of their religion. They believe that the whole world will be their religion and if we don't convert we have to die.
I guess I will have to die because I won't convert to a religion that teaches killing of innocent people. So we all wonder?

Why do you say so??? Do you see any Muslim is fighting with you??..do you see any Muslim country fights non Muslim countries except Palestine and Israel and this because in different of views?? people what you see is tireisom and tiresome are in everywhere not only muslims...they don't understand the religion well..and not all the muslims are like each other don't judge because of some people,the hole people...it is like because the pope said bad words on prophet mohamed so we have to hate all christians that isnot right...be fair in your judge.

Muslims as a whole don't. They are peaceful people. It is individual groups of people that are using Islam as an excuse that want to hurt us. People need to figure that out!

I don't think that the majority of them want to...its just a minority..maybe they are envious of our lives...the way we live...the freedom we supposedly are meant to have....remember...the grass is always meant to be greener.
