Make up a list of things to talk about. Things that you like to talk about, things that he likes to talk about and things that you both have in common. Look at the list from time to time and put down what is on your mind. When the list has three or four items under each heading it is time for a phone call. If he calls and there is nothing on your list it is time to call someone else and get some ideas jack.

Honestly, to me it sounds liek you are not a good match. A sign of when 2 people are a good fit for eachother is when they can talk about anything without any effort. It seems that neither of you have much in common. You maybe able to survive now, but what about years down the road? If you can't communicate now, it's not going to be any better later. Good luck, I hope I am wrong but maybe you 2 need to find someone else.

Try to catch some interesting topics like romantic movies, try to share some mature and adult jokes, talk about sex, that way you both will come to know each other's feelings and thinking. just try to bring some spice into this relationship. afterall it's a relation of love, you are not talking to a normal friend by saying hi.hello, how u r doing n all these formalities. Try to be little bit closer to him. i m sure soon u'll get the possitive results.

It means that you do not have enough interests. Read the newspaper and watch TV news. This is an election year. You need to know about decisions that affect your life. Find out how your BF feels about issues like the war, immigration, etc. Talk about sports, movies, TV shows, school, etc. You both need to expand your knowledge of what's going on around you.

Maybe it's a faze, I have had that happen before and then we did end up breaking up. Actually, with the boyfriend I have now - we have never had that problem, ever. Just talk about nothing or everything, it shouldn't matter. Heck we get into society issues in a 5 minute conversation, and that's it, no fighting, just debating.

It doesn't mean anything. Most guys hate talking on the phone. Most people's lives just don't change that much from day to day. This makes a daily phone call boring most times.
Don't worry about it, same thing happens to me when my girlfriend calls EVERYDAY. Only when something different happens to one of us is this an interesting call.

If you talk everyday this happens, do not let it affect your relationship. Talk about silly things or just say hey i wanted to call you and tell you how much I care, bye!!! If your relationship is good than a few indepth conversations a week are enough. As long as you know that he is there if you need him.

Seriously, is there anything left to talk about? Every night? When do you see him? What do you talk about then? Give the guy a break, guys don't think the same as girls. They don't need to talk everyday, girls always seem to think they need too. You'll be more interesting to him if you get a life too. Join a club, be a volunteer, get your own job. _Have_ something else to talk about!

Don't call him once. He'll think of something to talk about. Maybe he's just like me. I can talk on this damn thing and in person forever, but I hate talking on the phone.

you know you're in a good relationship when silence can also be comfortable, thats if you are together in person. it's not really necessary to call each other all the time, which is when you run out of things to say to each other. maybe meet him more often and go out together and do things. even walks are are fine.
