The priest words of consectration reaches up into heaven, brings Christ down from His throne.

Christ who is eternal and omnipotent Son of God, bows his head in humble obedience to a sinner priest's command. Christ would not want to go through the agony of the cross again.

You have it backwards. It is Christ Himself who gave the command, "DO THIS [ what I have just done] in remembrance of Me". It is the priest, the humble servant of God, who bows His head and in obedience, does what the Lord God has commanded.

Does your church obey this direct command from the lips of God Himself? If not, why not?

It is not a new sacrifice it is the SAME sacrifice and the priest is not commanding Christ come down here he is doing what Jesus said that if we had faith we could command this mountain to go there and whatever we want so actually the priest is asking God (by Jesus request by the way) to carry us back to be on Mnt Calvary at the same Crucifixion where the Catholic stands with Mary, Our Mother, and John. The other denominations do not understand what it is all about and to tell you the truth most Catholics do not understand what this is all about but, this is the wedding of the Groom and his Bride the Church. The other denominations--"Looked on from a distance"

Priests do not command Jesus to do anything. Jesus commands us to do what He did at the Last Supper when He says "Do this in memory of Me." Jesus, working through the priest, changes bread and wine into His Body and Blood.

As far as Christ not wanting to go through the agony of the cross again...for God there is not time...everything is now...everything is present to God all the time.

God bless.
