if you want to wear your hair up - you could try back combing it at the root and then starting at the front take quite big sections and just pin it back. If you do this all around you end up with a really nice 'messy chic' kind of look. Don't try too hard - its not meant to look perfect!

On straight hair its quite edgy and funky but if you use large rollers beforehand you get a really nice soft sexy look.

My friend had shoulder length hair when we were in fifth grade. Every day she would use a 2 inch curling iron and flip out the ends of her hair. That also looks SUPER cute if you have short, layered hair.
Also, there are lots of people at my school who run mousse everywhere through their hair when it's damp, and scrunch it up with their hands while blowdrying it. It's really easy to do with short hair, and it makes it look like you got a perm! It might turn out better if you use a diffuser, but I just use my hands to make it really curly. Just make sure you use hairspray when your done!
Hope this helps!

hey,i have the sane kinda hair as u!! im a hairdresser so im forever at it, have you tried scrunch drying adding some scrunchin gel or moose and a defuser for your haidryer,or keeping it straight adding a few g.h.d curls and just clipping some pieces up, that can look kinda cute, is it just the style your bored of or it colour as well?

Try curling the top layers of your hair. I have found that curling the top layers and brushing the curls out after applying hairspray gives you an old Hollywood look.

If you have a pretty face, have a short cut. Something neat & sporty.
