I have 2 children and never plan to have anymore. My son is 6 and just lost his first tooth. Is it normal to cry about that? Or am I being weriod?

Cut yourself some slack here. Your a mom and moms have special feelings about their children. We as women know they are going to grow up but then we want them to be our babies forever too. So, just be happy your a feeling person who loves her kids. Good Mothers are hard to find these days. Congrats

My eyes well up over anything my kids do. I have this little 3 year old girl with huge blue eyes and she's so beautiful, and I always think about how fast time goes, and I wish I could always have these moments, and those thoughts make me cry. I think it's normal to be sentimental over little things, and more parents should be.

No is it not weird , u most likely cried because u know that is a sign that he is growing up, It is just like his first day of school.
When my daughter started school this year I was the one wanting to cry but stopped myself because I knew it was a whole new level in her life and I was losing my baby to school. I then knew at the very moment that she was no longer a baby and she had to grow up. I thought she was going to cry when I left her but surprise surprise it was me not her.

No it's not weird, I cry sometimes when my son looks at me because that smiles breaks hearts. In your mind that means your son is growing up losing his baby teeth and gaining permanent teeth. He is growing up that's all, he will always be your baby

That isn't weird at all. I have a 4 year old (my only). I can cry over the smallest things... we're just sentimental I guess. Just enjoy it and take it all in.

Save your tears....... And when you are at the end of your life and they gave you no other reason to cry, then you can shead them.

Robert would have been 35. I wish I had him back with or without teeth.

well it depends on why your crying. if your crying to see him grow up, then its perfectly normal. but if your crying because he dropped it on your carpet, then its not normal.
