Well the south east asians in N. Ireland are certainly propping up the NHS.

The Jewish community are probably the richest community in Britain and keep Britains economy propped up on the basis of banking. Funny that nobody here complains about the Jews. Especially those who want all immigrants returned to their own countries. Jews are hardly British yet it is only those with different coloured skin that seem to take the brunt of immigrant bashing.

Without a doubt, the Polish.

I have never known a work ethic like theirs. They put many of our country men and women to shame.

Our unemployed should be shipped out to Poland for a couple of weeks to appreciate what poverty and struggle are realy about. Maybe then they would be a bit more inclined to take on the not so appealing job when it appears in the Job Centre window.

A lot of companies are better off because the new workers are much cheaper to employ than British workers as they often work for the minimum wage.
Mrs Blair has also done quite well out of representing illegal aliens.
Countries like Poland are suffering suffering as their best educated people are leaving and taking unskilled jobs here for much more money that they could earn at home. It will be at least 10 years until Poland can catch up to our standard of living.
We are lucky that a lot have come here as we have a load of scroungers that never work or want to.

In the last 5 years it has to be the Polish. The majority of them are hard working and in general make an effort to integrate into our society. The problem is that they are mostly employed by the construction industry, and they are prepared to work at a lower hourly rate. Unemployment in this Country is rising, but hey! as long as business makes extortionate profits, the government couldn"t care less. I don"t mind immigrants coming here as long as they have work and don"t claim any benefits, but not at the expense of our jobs.

The Eastern Europe immigrants such as the polish. There are so many of them all looking for work that they will take any low paid job. They work all the hours that they can and they all pay 17.5% tax. The UK citizens will not work for £5.25 ph so they sit on their backsides claiming the dole.

The polish and immigrants from other new eu states seem to have contributed a lot to the economy and replaced a lot of rogue traders in plumbing etc. They do seem to have made life easier for many of us and in this way too enriched the nation.

I assume there are a whole heap of people from the United Arab Emirates who have paid an extraordinary amount in taxes and possibly kept many educational establishments open by paying the extortionate rates they charge to educate their children.
