Good and evil are both very real. There is no question to that. Good is obviously way more powerful.

God is most definitely loving perfection. Evil comes from the free choices made by mankind, certainly not God. Unfortunately, those of weak mind/spirit deny God to give themselves a false sense of power and knowledge which they know they do not have apart from God, and hence, they respond to such inquiries with arrogant comments that betray a brazen ignorance and fear rivaled only by the man of science himself. The Ignoratio Elenchi that appeals to age may work on bonobos but never a real thinker. Libraries are great sources the public offers to us. Please utilize them.

I love Shawn's answer!!
If evil is "only a figment of frightened little children's minds", could someone please lock those kids in their rooms till they get over themselves, please?
Maybe then we can have some PEACE AND QUIET!!

When I'm around anyone who makes the claim that evil does not infact exist, I am struck with the incredible urge to pummel them flat with a history book.
Except for moral relativists. Then I get the urge to pummel them flat and explain to them why there's nothing wrong with me pummeling them flat because it benifits me and is therefor moral in my relative definition.

Apparently not. Look at how many adults still believe. It's amazing. I figured it out when I was about 17. Some people are just slower than others I guess.
