Ok so unless you go under the knife there is not really any quick fix methods to losing weight. Everyone loves food and obviously eating too much of most things will make you gain weight.... or make you unhealhty. Eating too less is also just as bad for you though. You really are best just following a well balanced healthy diet.

I think that if you and your partner are serious about losing weight then chat to your doctor.

A high fibre, low fat diet with slow releasing carbs (Good carbs) and plenty of fresh fruit & veg is probably what would be recommended to you.

Carbohydrates aren't bad for you as such and by eliminating them from your diet it will actually have a negative effect so as long as you eat carbs in the right way and eat the right type carbs, such as brown rice/pasta, wholemeal bread (Soya & Linseed is the best i've found) you will find that your fuller for longer thus eating less and feeling more satisfied and still lose weight at a realistic pace that will be kept off in the future and not just for your wedding.

In theory the diet plan I am talking about is called the G.I diet and is based upon how your body reacts to sugars in foods. So by eating slow release foods you will be teaching your body into having constant amounts of energy and making you feel wonderful in the long term. It also has an incredible amount of benefits for your internal organs and obviously means that you will age healthier and look vibrant - how wonderful would that be for those wedding pics.

You would find that following a plan of this choice is more sustainable in the long term, much more varied and most importanlty more healthy for you both.

If you like fish eat it but in limitations as too much can be bad..... oily fish is great brain food and makes your skin and hair look and feel lovely.

Meat is alright, although I personally do not eat it, make sure you stick to lean cuts and if there is skin etc - chop it off before cooking.

Just be wise in your way of cooking, cut the rubbish out and follow just even one bit of my advice and you will find that you both look radiant, slimmer and more importantly 'happier' on your wedding day!

As I have answered before:

It really is so simple - if you put more calories in your body than you take out, you put on weight. Put less in than you take out, you lose.

The answer to weight loss is therefore to either take more out or put less in. It works: I have stopped drinking alcohol and other sugary drinks for 3 weeks and done more exercise. I have lost 9 pounds so far.

Good luck.

Exercise! Believe me, it's the only way to have a fit body. Along with regular exercise, you may also control your food intake with Weight Loss/Hoodia sample. These will help develop firmer muscles, while you burn fats and shed off those extra pounds. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php for more info.
