Do you believe in one True Human or many humans?
Do you believe that each human can only understand things one True Way, or that each human can understand things many ways?
If each of us is unique, doesn't it make sense that each of us can see the 'Truth' a little bit differently than everyone else, or can see the 'Truth' a bit more and a bit less than everyone else?

Define god.
If your definition includes conscious creator of all that is, then I don't believe that there are any gods.
If your definition includes creator of all that is who has become conscious in the process, then I believe that there are 2 gods, a 'father' and a 'mother' (because I believe the omniverse has been made reclectively, meaning that the general way that things are done in any part reflects how they are done in the other parts, and here on earth for creatures that have more thought capacity, ability to sense, move, & decide than others, it takes a male and a female to procreate).
If your definition includes beings that are immortal, that have limits that are far beyond our limits but who had nothing to do with the creation of the Omniverse, then I believe in many gods.

Why is it so hard for some people to reject the idea of "god". I understand that some people think that there must be a god that created everything thousands of years ago because their understanding of the world is very limitted. But now it is clear that life on earth was a product of evolution. Stop being so ignorant and start questioning every aspect of this primative idea of "God" you'll find an answer....Whoever corned the word "god" is either very mischievious or stupid...."god" is just "dog" spelled backward.

The Bible says God's name is Jehovah. See Ps.83:18. Jesus called him the ONLY true God at John 17:3. No madness here.

I believe in NO gods. Since there is no evidence of any kind that god exists, how do you explain the "madness" of believing there is "one true god?"

Still undecided. Experience leads me to believe that there's a universal consciousness, of which you and I and everyone/everything are aspects thereof.

Additionally, if you want to see things change in the world, it can help to ask (pray) to whatever aspect or aspects of the divine you are inclined to believe in. Jehovah has always been a bit too judgemental and non-productive for me. Poseidon has been useful, and provided impressive results. Same with Zeus.

All gods are One God. The different "gods" are just masks - they represent aspects of the One. They are given personalities and names, but they are all just different faces of God, just as we are all part of the Whole.

God can take on any form, any face, any name, any personality that God chooses. To deny this is to limit God.

i believe in many gods.

madness?

if there were not many gods. why would Jehovah or God or Christ
(whatever you wish to call the christian god.)

take the time to make commandments to forbid their worship.
why would the church spend so much time trying to destroy any memory of them, and the coltures that believed in them.

you want madness?

why would you follow a god that lies to you. he claims to be a god of love and peace, yet look at the ammount of murder and wars that are done in his name. and he allows it.

you do not see any pagan armies marching for conquest.
you do not see pagans trying to assimilate everyone on the planet.
