Okay...most of these people have it all wrong....this is what you do....just keep complementing each day saying he looks so handsome or that he has a wonderful smile or that you love his hair or something like that....use that to strike up some conversations and then flirt with him by smiling quite often at him. Always smile. Be happy when you are around him and let him know you are interested. Hopefully he will ask you out within a few days. If he doesn't ask you out in 2 weeks ask him if you can call him sometime.

Maybe you should invite him to some kind of function. like a dance or music show or something. That way, you can go with other people and it won't be a true date. You could say "a bunch of us are going to this thing, do you want to come along"?

Find out if there is a movie or somethin that hes been wanting to see and mention in front of him that you really want to go see the movie but none of your friends want to see it and you dont want to go alone...maybe he will be like hey I will go with ya..

i know its hard to do, and can take a lot of guts, but sometimes the best way to do it is to just go up to him and say casually "hey, would you want to go out sometime?" that way, it doesnt sound like ur too upsesed with him, and it wont ruin your friendship...good luck!

First if he's not taken just casually tell him that you would like to go to ..... but you don't have anyone to go with then ask him would he like to go.

Introduce yourself, say how you feel, make him feel good and confident through compliments... but don't overwhelm him and freak him out.
