You can forgive anybody of anything, if they are sorry or not. That's your business.
Personally, I don't think forgiveness should be something you automatically give someone. On the other hand, you shouldn't allow bad actions of another person affect your life too much. If someone does something truly horrible to me, I'm probably not going to like them no matter how sorry they are. Of course, we're talking in generalities. It really depends on what they did, why they did it, how they made amends to me, and what my mood about it is.

In my case, sure. If you do something horrible to me, but regret doing it and vow to never do it again, then I will forgive the misdeed.
Forgiveness is a choice to be made by the forgiver. It is by the grace of the individual rather than any third-party standard that you can be either forgiven or not. With regards to religion, I would imagine my own approach to be similarly taken, since it is proclaimed that God is graceful, and so must at least be more so than myself to be worthy of that title.

It depends what it is -
Can Ian Huntley be forgivan no I think not-
How about beating up a pregnant woman so she so scared she thinks she's lost her baby - no I don't think so
If someone was truly sorry they wouldn't have done it in the first place
I'm sure we all have money problems, family troubles and we get stressed-What gives someone else the right to take it out on us.
I have never had it easy but I'd never hurt anyone else-
I couldn't sleep at night if I did
And I'm sick of other people makin' excuses for their bad behaviour.

Yes, they sould be forgiven. It has nothing to with religion. It's simple human nature.
I must say there is on group of people will never forgive the Germans. Yes you've guessed it. The zionists won't forgive. None us can forget, but forgive yes.

It depends what you mean. Do you mean forgiven by God? If so then God is a God of his word and he means what he says, if you repent of your sins and ill doings and change your life to suit Gods purpose for you, the lord will forgive you and forget your sins. Repent Repent, Repent.
Have you tried God? Go ahead and try him, what do you have to lose? You can never lose with God, you can only gain.
God Bless you!

you can....but u may never think the same of that person ever again. Just remember when u forgive someone u choose to put it in the past and not discuss it again. u need not to be living feeling like u made a mistake, and regret any choices u made, everyone should have 2nd chance

Romans 3:22-24 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his GRACE through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
By Gods grace alone we are saved from our sins; not by anything we did or will do. Forgiveness is given freely by God to those who believe in him, but forgiveness doesn't mean there are no consequences for our actions.

Yes, There is NOTHING that you cannot be forgiven for EXCEPT refusing to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. He said in the Bible ---If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us of ALL unrighteousness.-----If you truly believe that Jesus is the Christ and that He is the son of God and died on the cross for your sins, Confess your sins, Ask Him to forgive you for your sins and Confess that He is the Son of God and ask Him to come in to your heart and save your soul. If you do these things and really mean it you will be saved. Get yourself a Bible and read it. God Bless you

Maybe, depends on what they done! A lot of people i know deliberately do things they know are wrong and pray at the end of the day and their sins are washed away. Instead of saying "why should i sin in the first place.

i think it depends on what it is and the person who needs to forgive. for example - my friends boyfriend cheated on her with her sister and she forgave him because he said sorry - if this had happened to me i wouldnt bother with the forgiveness, i would just move on because at the end of the day it isnt worth all the pain. but as i said it depends on the situation, this is not the best example but you get the gist of what i mean!
