It says:
The highest-scoring opening plays in Scrabble are MUZJIKS (128), and QUARTZY or SQUEEZY (each 126). Other words yielding high scores as an opening play are POPQUIZ (128) and ZYXOMMA (130).

"worth" is subjective.
The word that wins the game and dooms the opponent to humiliating defeat is worth the most. Savour it like life itself

That all depends on where you place the word on the board because some spaces have double or triple word value. I imagine the word QUIXOTIC spelled across two triple word scores would be woth a Shi*load of points
