Best to be straight forward with it. Just say something like......
" we can't be a couple anymore, we are not a good match and the distance is definatly a problem, we both need to move on" Then say goodbye
It is that simple. If the person begs....WHO wants to be with someone who begs???? Just say NO

this is soming very easy to say and hard to do,
how far apart are both of you?
i use to live in vancouver and my gf live in Toronto.
we use to see each other once every 6 months if we are lucky some times once a year.
and after 3 years i end up moving to Toronto.
but you have to have alot of trust between you and him/her
it will NOT work without trust between relationship specially long distance.

Just tell her that you have grown apart over the year and that she's not the one for you. Or........... you could tell her the trust. Truthfully y do you want out of the relationship? Just tell her she'll under stand, just make sure it's not her birthday and you tell her in person.

just explain to the person that its just not working for ya..that the distance is a problem and you dont want to end it badly but on a good note and maybe you should just be friends.

Just tell them you've had enough, u want to move on and just try to be nice about. If you rly don't want to be in the relationship any more then end it for your sake not for theirs.
