I wish you a lot of luck with your project! You can start by not being hypocritical, judgmental & intolerable. You can start by being aware of the world and not blinded by people who tell you what you want to hear like Bush - who apparenly is laughing behind your leaders backs.
You can learn & appreciate other religions too! Im not a Budhist, a Jew or Pegan - but I have taken the time to get to know something about every religion. Religion to me weaves a fabric of Truth - but not one individual Religion holds the only key to Gods Kingdom. Of course, Truth is relative to the individual...

I intend to ask the Holy Spirit to help me Forgive the so called "Christians".

I don't plan to do anything, the Christians that judge others, do not tolerate peoples differences and are hypocritical are those that must change, it all depends on how you interpret what you read and why you believe. It is a stereotype that has been earned and if Christians want to be seen as non judgemental they will have to start behaving that way.
The truth hurts.

Keep being me.. Saying all of us are like that is also stereotyping.. I actually agree to some point, some Christians just do not get it, but those that see that as disproof of God or those that see one-sided interpretation of scripture as proof it is all wrong are also shortsighted..///Many Christians and others, WILL have to change their ways and light up all corners of the heart pretty soon...I plan to open my heart as quick as I can and then the solution will be clear..

If I were a Christian I would simply stop being hypocritical judgemental and intolerable. On the other hand, my personal feeling is that would mean I was no longer a Christian.

If we want to not be viewed as hypocrites, THEN WE NEED TO STOP BEING HYPOCRITES. *****LIVE THE WORD*****
As Christians, we understand that God's grace is sufficient for us, but the world cannot understand that.

People view us as judgemental because we do not speak the truth IN LOVE.

I think we should live peaceably as best we can (I am paraphrasing here) as Paul quoted, and think and answer in a respectful and kindly manner.
I also think that we cannot "walk a tightrope" between God and the world just to have others think well of you. You have to speak out for what you believe in.

Very good point! Leave it in God's hands, do your best, do not worry about it & restore your inner peace as you cannot change how we Christians are viewed.

Surrender to God, live in Peace, Love & Harmony! - who is better off now?

Sending you love & blessings!

It doesn't matter how they view us, it matters how God sees us. That is exactly what looking for glory from men means. If I am not hypocritical judge-y & intolerant, then God knows that, and that's all that matters to me.

By matching our actions to our words, letting God be the Judge after all it's His world, and except that others may not wish to except the gift of life and leave them to their way... Jim
