What is wrong with me? How do I leave him on the "ex" list?

I have the same problem. I keep giving chances hoping things will change. They never do. But I always get to a last chance and once I get there, there is no more chances. You probably haven't been hurt sufficiently yet. You still have hope. Try to remind yourself that its not working and if you dont go back again it will hurt but if you go back it will hurt more and for longer.

Our heart's send us strong messages: maybe yours is that he is a big love in your life but you are pushing the chances away... Why leave him on the ex list? Sometimes we are meant to be...the second time around!

If you truly love the person, you should accept them for who and what they are. You shouldn't expect them to change. They shouldn't have to change. Sometimes you can't let it be over, because it's not meant to be. Maybe you need a bit of a grace period in order to see how much that person means to you, and to prove it to eachother.
