Orange, which all decent blue-collar people pronounce; ''orringe'', rhymes with: minge, singe, hinge, tinge, binge, cringe.
And don't ever tell me, nothing ryhmes with 'purple', I used to live in Wimbledon, on a road called 'Worple'.

It's a fact that no word in the English language rhymes with either 'orange' or 'purple'. And I mean proper words that are listed in the Oxford dictionary (for example).

Nothing rhymes with orange. The only thing that pops into my head for purple is nurple but that's not a real word :-P

Sorry if this a repeat, not sure what just happened on this end.
I like to put jam on my pancakes, it makes them sweet and purple. Plus it doesn't run off the edges like syrup'll.
Did anyone say "month"?

And don't forget silver.
The closest "rhyme" is door-hinge, but that leads to all kinds of problems
"I caught my finger in the door-hinge,
And now it is as big as an orange."
